Already implemented features:
  • Add multiple newsserver
  • Subscribe/Unsubscribe to/from newsgroups
  • Read, reply and post new articles
  • Full-text search over the downloaded articles
  • Integration into popUp-menu of Java perspective -> gives very easy search access
  • Aging of old articles on newsgroup-level (e.g. delete from this group after 30 days)
  • Download of multiple articles at once (good for creating large search indexes on a single click)
Ideas for future releases:
  • Eclipse Update Site, where user can automatically install from (anybody out there with a working example for the SourceForge FRS?)
  • Bookmarking of interested articles
  • Integration into popUp-menu of Console
  • A little bit more comment on the code... ;-)
  • many more ...
